Editorial Standards

These standards govern everything published on Daily Trend USA.

Verification: a story’s central claim must be confirmed by at least two credible sources, or by one primary source (an official agency, regulator, company, or court document) plus one credible independent report.

Attribution: material facts are attributed to their source, and articles link to the primary source whenever one is available.

Accuracy over speed: we distinguish confirmed facts from allegations, eyewitness claims, analysis, and speculation, and we label them as such. We never invent quotes, statistics, names, or official statements.

Sensitive topics: stories involving deaths, disasters, crime, health, elections, or serious allegations receive senior editorial review before publication.

Images: we use only original, licensed, or officially released images, and never present an AI-generated image as a photograph of a real event.

Assistance disclosure: our newsroom uses research and drafting tools, including AI tools, under human editorial control. Every published article is reviewed by an editor before it goes live.

Updates: when a story develops, we update the original article and note what changed, rather than publishing a duplicate.
